Workshops For Wellness Professionals

For the Wellness Practitioners | Writing as Mirror

for those who hold so much, and need to be held too

You’re a therapist, coach, yoga teacher, caregiver, counsellor, health care professional, or wellness practitioner who holds space for others—but need space for yourself.
You’re not using writing to become a writer. You’re using it as a tool for reflection, release, and reconnection—so you can continue to show up in your work with clarity and care. These sessions are designed to offer a pause, a soft recalibration, and a mirror through story.

The Self-Discovery Studio’s Focus: Reflection-based offerings for wellness professionals, space-holders, and high-empathy creatives who crave grounding through gentle, story-rooted writing work

The World Asks You to Hold It All. Writing Asks You to Let Go.

What if writing—and the unique tools and methods I’ve developed over the years—weren’t just for writers?

What if they could become powerful tools for space-holders like you—who give so much, often without a place to land yourselves?

I believe this work is urgently needed in today’s world. We are all being pulled in a hundred directions. And even for those of us who feel like we’re standing on solid ground, there’s always space to soften, recalibrate, and come back to what matters most. Writing to and through the root changes everything.

The truth is, many wellness professionals carry far more than their job descriptions suggest. You offer presence, care, and compassion day after day. But over time, that emotional labour can accumulate in quiet, often unspoken ways.
The research confirms what I’ve felt in the room:

  • Compassion fatigue can quietly drain your ability to stay present.

  • Secondary traumatic stress can show up through the stories you hold, leaving behind symptoms that linger.

  • And emotional exhaustion—that deep depletion—can make even the most meaningful work feel heavy.

These struggles don’t come from overworking alone. They come from not having space. Not being held in return.

That’s why I’m slowly building something new—bespoke workshops and reflective spaces designed for wellness professionals and care teams. A place to pause, to process, to refill your own well through writing and reflection.
