Helping your creative clients make meaning between sessions.

In-between session support for creative clients working with mental health or wellness professionals.

I’m Chelene Knight, a Creative Practitioner who supports writers, artists, and other deep-feeling creatives through reflective writing. My Creative Support Calls can deepen the insight clients gain from therapy, coaching, or wellness work. I help clients turn their reflections into clarity and action. : )

Referral Guide: For Mental Health & Wellness Professionals

Why Writing? Why Me?
I use reflective writing as a tool as a deep, intentional practice for processing, pattern-tracking, and creative decision-making. I’ve spent decades using writing to explore emotional texture, internal shifts, and the creative life beneath the surface. As a published author (of 5 books), certified coach, and workplace mindfulness facilitator, I specialize in helping clients make meaning from their writing to help faciliate personal growth and life transitions.

The work I do is designed to support creative individuals who are navigating transition, identity shifts, or emotional fog, and who need a practice that bridges insight and action. Through guided conversation and carefully tailored reflection, I help clients build a sustainable writing process that gives them something steady to return to, and something tangible to build from.

When to Refer a Client to Me

You may want to refer a client to me if you notice any of the following in your creative clients:

  • They’re journaling but don’t know what to do with what’s on the page (it’s just … there).

  • They express confusion about a recurring pattern, emotional block, or internal conflict.

  • They’re navigating creative burnout, reinvention, or uncertainty around identity (I have a ton of personal experience here too).

  • They feel stuck in the processing of their ideas (the stuff that shows up on the page).

  • They’re highly self-aware but lack a clear next step that feels theirs

  • They crave something steady between sessions: a container for meaning-making and integration

  • They are reflecting, but can’t seem to get beneath the surface or are overwhelmed by what they find

In short: they’re creative, they’re reflective, and they’re seeking clarity, but they don’t want surface-level prompts. They want a practice that respects their depth and helps them find their own entry point. They want to infuse reflective writing into their lives.

The Offering: Creative Support Call Package

This is not a one-off session. It’s a small, powerful container.

Each client receives:

  • A thorough intake process to name what they’re carrying

  • A 45-60-minute 1:1 call with me to explore what’s rising through conversation and writing (we mutually agree on when to stop within that time frame)

  • A follow-up asynchronous support package with handpicked tools, resources, or practices tailored to what emerged in our session

  • A personalized check-in 7–10 days later, where I gently follow up on what’s shifted, what landed, and what they might need next

  • A soft, suggested next step to support momentum and self-trust

These calls are designed to concentrate and strengthen the work clients are already doing with you. By helping them metabolize what’s surfacing between sessions, we can reinforce the emotional, psychological, or lifestyle shifts they’re making in real time. We’re working in rhythm.

Additional Note on Accessibility

I believe this work should be accessible to creatives navigating financial strain, so I offer a limited number of spots each month at a community rate. If you’re referring a client who might benefit from this, please let them know they’re welcome to reach out about availability. No explanation is required, just a quiet acknowledgment that care should meet people where they are.
